To support those poetic lyrics, the strongest and deepest emontions reffering to those writings are expressed by an emotive music that is metalic, atmospheric, rythmic and melodic.
The voices are emotive, the guitares are always saturated, the bass is omnipresent and the drums are put forward in order to add to the whole as much heavyness as possible.
The Black Swords members are: ΚΦ, Gloom and B.Iron.
The former members are: C. Anne-Christine, Aran, E. Laurent, M. Benjamin, S. David, V. Lionel, V. Bertrand and K.Dich.
Since K.Dich's death, the band is on hold. Later, personnal problems lead Gloom to decide to split the band. Finaly, he prefers to let things open by comming back to that decision, so, the band is still on hold (for an indefinite time).
Before ceasing it's activity, Black Swords was composing for a demo called: ?: Written with a sword: from the graves, the man in black in disgrace's death's praise to souls takers' preach as dying by lie's humanity's suicide's dream

After this recording, the band would become a project with only B.Iron and Gloom, they would compose and record a concept that is declined in a heptalogy (in 7 albums) under the name Optimistic decay, after that, this project in Black Swords' continuity would stop to exist.
